How much do you value your life???

Lovely
Happen to see a very dangerous act by a foreign worker, riding his bicycle at a road with pretty high traffic condition. He was riding in the centre lane and just cut across the road on his own and the bus driving beside him almost knock him down. Thank god the bus driver saw him. I have always wonder about these foreign workers who ride their bicycles around my estate, how much do they value their life?? I seriously value mine alot and would not want to be involve in any accident.

Quote from a colleague

Lovely
Today, I injured my back and is resting at home. I have some very helpful colleagues in the office helping me to churn out something and hand it to my boss. Thank you.

One of them told me to take a good rest and make sure that I take proper care. Then he said "THE COMPANY PAY YOU A SALARY BUT NOT FOR YOUR LIFE/HEALTH". How true...

New Year Planning

Lovely
It's going to be the New Year...

What should I be plannig for the new year??

I have yet to decide what my new new goals will be?

Make the goals SMART (not my acronym).

S - Specific
Don't make a general goal, use some details and make it specific.

M - Measurable
How can you measure if you achieved it or not?

A - Achievable
Make it reachable, possible, but still may be a stretch for me.

R - Relevant
Is this relevant to my values? Is it something I really want?

T - Timely (set a deadline)
By when - specific date - do I want to achieve this?

E.g. Goal: to Lose Weight
SMART Goal: I want to lose 10 pounds in six months.

It is specific, measurable, and achievable.
If it said lose 10 pounds in 2 months - it might not be achievable for me.
It has a timeline. If I don't make it, it's okay - but work towards the deadline.

Happy New Year.

During those times you grow.

They will teach you valuable lessons.

Thanks for exhaustion

because it means you've made the effort.

Thanks for setbacks

A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who
are also thankful for the setbacks.

Thanks for troubles
Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles,

- First time buying from ON, so I just picked something cheap & hopefully versatile

GAP Uniform jumper - USD$7.99

Feeling bored

Lovely

Most probably I have a "hard" life. I have nothing on hand now, since completing the event and finishing report. Even tried clearing part of the office for spring cleaning, but most of the stuffs are not mind, so can't throw. I recently also cultivated a new habit : Throw Things. Its nice to throw away things not needed.

Whiling away my time, by blog-surfing and chatting on the MSN.
